Ever notice something uncomfortable in your body and have no idea what to do with it?

This week, someone asked the big question of how to sit with what you feel.

In this video, I teach a simple somatic skill that helps you process difficult sensations without having to "just sit with it" and white-knuckle through.

Because there's a big difference between sitting in how we feel (aka stewing) and metabolizing what's going on inside of us so it can actually move.

In this video, I walk you through the concept, and share with you a powerful practice (in real time) that I promise is more potent than it seems. Every time I do this with someone, we see a shift.

So if you're feeling agitated, something's going on in your body, and you don't know how to work with it... I present to you... pendulation!

‘Pendulation’ means moving your awareness back and forth between something that feels intense and something that feels neutral or okay. Like a pendulum finding its way to center. It's one of the most effective tools you can use in the moment, whether you're lying awake at night or feeling activated during your day.

Don't do this while driving, no really, give yourself the space to sit and be with yourself for a moment. In bed is a great option.

Once you master this skill, my goodness, you will be able to support yourself somatically in a whole new way.

Let me know what you notice, and send me your next questions!
